Midwest Textiles & Supplies is a distribution, warehouse, and converter for the textiles industry. In addition to distributing top brand quilt fabric manufacturers, we also produce and distribute our own fabric brand, RB Studios.  Custom curated, art-focused fabrics, designed and tailor-made for the quilting world. We specialize in customizing merchandise to help our customers stand out from their competition both locally and online.

HOW WE ARE UNIQUE

We also have in-house converting capabilities.  We convert more than 125-130 million pieces of embroidery backing per year for commercial decorators in the embroidery industry.  We are the largest of our kind in this industry as a full-service embroidery supplies warehouse & distributor. Using our converting capabilities we have the ability to produce precuts & kits for the quilting world.  We produce custom cut, ready to sew, Kwik Kits.  Kwik Kits are our spin on traditional quilt kits with the exception of, we cut all the pieces for the quilter.  We also include coordinating backing & binding for each kit.  The kits focus on our RB Studio lines – but we have the ability to kit any brand of fabric.   We have found that the kits fix two challenges in the market. For one, the barrier of entry for new crafters coming into quilting, and two, it helps long term quilters that do not have time or can no longer cut as easily as they once did.  In addition, the advantage for shops is that we can produce custom curated collections of mixed brands/themes based on their customer's buying habits. Each shop can offer something truly unique in an environment where brick & mortars compete against each other & e-commerce with the same goods.  They can have a custom precut selection and/or custom Kwik Kits to help set their shops apart.   We also can help shops that have large BOM kitting needs by saving them valuable time and money.
